CasePost, Inc. is a California corporation created to enable consumers to safely and quickly locate qualified legal representation in their specific geographical area, over the internet. Under the company's patent pending business model, consumers can remain anonymous, or have their contact information released to area attorneys. The directory of attorneys in the area are shown immediately to the consumer, who chooses where their information should be emailed to.

CasePost is defined as a "directory service" not a "referral service" for the purpose of classification with the bar associations, and under the ethics rules they apply. As a "consumer directory for legal service", CasePost harness the power of the internet to allow consumer and attorney to use a "messenger medium" through which to initiate a dialogue. It is this medium, which includes area-of-law-specific vetting questions, that the attorney can use to quickly and efficiently evaluate the validity and the quality of the consumer's issue.

The consumer can view attorney member profiles at any point in the process as well as receive emails from the system containing the profiles of attorneys interested in "pursuing" a further dialog. The Member profiles are in themselves de facto web sites. They exist on the internet and allow the internet search engines to index the Member's information, thereby increasing the Member's internet presence. These profiles have the ability to contain "key words" that, when used effectively, index the Member's services within the Member's geographical location.

In addition to this business foundation, CasePost will add services to be the premier legal service portal for consumers. The mission of CasePost is to innovate and support business strategies of the legal community through the aggregation of technology, capital and intellectual power. Upon this platform, CasePost will safeguard the consumer and support legal service providers in a commodity-driven marketplace.

The CasePost vision will continue to insist upon the liberation of attorneys from the "business of law", allowing for their focus to be upon the "practice of law", in the best interests of the consumer. To this end, additional opportunities are being explored to provide financial support, collections support, educational opportunities and community-building infrastructure for legal service organizations.
